Accell Clean® Dirty Petroleum Product is a highly effective crude oil cleaner / cleaning agent designed for metal surfaces where grease and oil need to be removed, including crude oil and residual fuels such as HFO. Demanding applications, such as oil that is aged in heat and sun, or oil sludge in oil storage tanks, can be removed more efficiently and safely that with traditional solvents or diesel.

Accell Clean® DPP increases well-production through paraffin release. It incorporates patented technology that amplifies the ability of surfactants to penetrate, lift and clean contaminants from surfaces faster and more efficiently than other surfactants or a traditional crude oil cleaner that depend on solvents and caustic chemicals to achieve their cleaning power. Accell Clean® DPP product accelerates that natural bio-degradation of organic contaminants safely, rapidly, and in an environmentally friendly manner.

Accell Clean® DPP is a water-based, high-performance, biodegradable crude oil cleaner / degreaser for use on petroleum-based contaminated surfaces such as: off-shore oil rigs, equipment and tools, storage tanks or oil transport equipment and vessels.

For use for crude oil cleaner in ship bulk cargo tanks covered in paraffin residue:

 Dilute 20% Accell Clean® DPP with 80% fresh or seawater

  1. Pre-clean surface area
  2. Apply solution until drenched
  3. Scrub with a brush
  4. Hose down with high pressure sprayer
  5. Let air dry

For use for cleaning ship bulk cargo tanks covered in a thinner coat of residue:

 Dilute 2% Accell Clean® DPP with 98% fresh or seawater

  1. Spray surface with Butterworth spray system and 2% Accell Clean® DPP at 70–75°C
  2. Use high pressure rinse

For use cleaning heavily oil-encrusted ship equipment:

 Dilute 20% Accell Clean® DPP with 80% fresh or seawater

  1. Thoroughly spray 20% Accell Clean® DPP solution
  2. Allow to sit for ten to fifteen (10-15) minutes
  3. Re-spray Accell Clean® DPP 20% solution
  4. Brush with a stiff-bristle brush
  5. Rinse surface thoroughly
  6. Let air dry

For Oil Well Stimulation and Restoration:

Make sure the oil well has first been taken out of production and all valves from and to the well have been sealed.

Prepare a connection to feed the ABC solution to the well. If using a water truck with a surge pump, disconnect the production line and attach a hose connection that will fit the water truck hose.

  1. Pre-mix 208 liters/55 gallons of Accell Clean® DPP concentrate with approx. 4,000 liters/1,000 gallons (5.5%) of production water or brine. This yields a final solution of 94.5% brine and 5.5% of the concentrate. When mixing, first pour in water, and then the concentrate, to assure a good mixing prior to injection.
  2. Inject the solution into the wellbore at approximately 55-65 psi (this may depend on the geological formation porosity). Then close all connections to let the well soak.
  3. Allow the well to soak for 5 to 7 days. Then place the well back in production to completely flush the wellbore.
  4. Pump the well into standard production tanks. Any residual of the ABC agent will dissipate in the oil/water mixture and will not cause any adverse effects.

Each formation will have different effects on the wellbore due to the paraffin content, depth and formation porosity. Therefore, the application, as described, should be repeated over future months as necessary to maintain optimal production from each well.
